Blood spot tests are an easy and accurate way to test your hormones in the privacy of your home. Unlike blood tests at medical clinics that draw blood from the arm, these tests draw several drops of “whole” blood from the end of the fingers. Unlike blood drawn from the arm, which is venous blood, blood drawn from the end of the fingers is mostly capillary blood. Compared to venous blood, capillary blood contains more nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to feed the tissues. This makes capillary blood an excellent way to measure key hormone levels.
You can do a wide range of highly accurate blood tests at home with a simple, virtually painless stick and a few drops of blood placed on a blood spot card. Just follow the Instructions in the test kit, fill out the form completely, put everything in its container, and send it off to the Laboratory in the prepaid package. As soon as your test results are completed, Rupa Health will email you a secure link to access your test results. You can then use this link to download the test results to your computing devices for printing.
